As the disciples have been sent out by Jesus, he heads back to his hometown Nazareth to see his mother and celebrate Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year celebration). In Nazareth we meet Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha. Jesus is allowed to give the teaching for Rosh Hashanah and reads from the prophet Isaiah. His reading and teaching are not taken seriously among family and old friends. As He continues to speak, they are angered and turn to violence.
